A full weekend of art and live performances is planned in Takoma (MD and DC) for the 11th annual Art Hop Arts Fest. The work of over 100 artists will be installed INSIDE the shops, restaurants, galleries and cafes of Takoma creating a lively arts district. Art includes painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, jewelry, pottery, mosaic, fabric arts and more offered for sale at a variety of price points. Live outdoor music and dance performances, workshops and events are planned all weekend.

Visitors are encouraged to grab an Art Hop Map from any of the participating businesses (highlighted with an Art Hop Stop sign in the window) and explore art at their own pace while taking in meet-the-artist receptions, wine tastings and live performances. The Art Hop Map doubles as a punch card that will be stamped at each Art Hop Stop location and may be turned in at the Art Hop Info Booth on both Saturday and Sunday for nightly prize drawings of art.

New this year – wine! Visitors may purchase a souvenir Art Hop glass on Saturday and enjoy wine specials at participating businesses and at the Art and Wine Hub next to the TPSS Co-op which will be busy with wine tastings from local vineyards, artists booths, and music courtesy of Takoma Park’s independent radio station, WOWD
